1 Units with watt densities between 10.6 to 14.2 W/in 2 (1.6 to 2.2 W/cm 2 ), are coil designs suitable for use up to 2000°F (1093°C) maximum surface temperature. Units with watt densities between 14.6 to 17.2 W/in 2 (2.3 to 2.7 W/cm 2 ) are “round radiants” with sinuated element designs and high emissivity coating that are suitable for use up to 1800°F (982°C) maximum surface temperature. 2 For unheated insulation tubes, select the appropriate size during quoting process.
